Violin / Viola / Cello

Our violin, Viola & cello teachers teach classical and pop styles of music. Beginner students can expect to work on technique, bowing, sight reading and song material - we balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but always end with something fun such as your favorite part of a song.

 

Our teachers understand that every student is an individual, with personal musical needs and goals. We make it a priority to tailor how we teach and what we teach to your individual needs. Our teachers use Essential Elements for Strings Books and Suzuki Book series in their lessons. 

If you enroll here for string lessons, your teacher will ask you about your favorite type of music, and set goals to help accomplish whatever musical aspirations you have for yourself or your child. Together, you will develop a plan to achieve your goals!

 

What age can a child start learning?

Your child can start learning the violin, Viola or Cello as early as 4 yrs of age. Your child will change instruments as they grow. Our teachers will help you choose the right size of the instrument for you!
